For generations, the Carson Valley Days Parade has been the centerpiece of the weekend’s celebration. From marching bands and community organizations to decorated floats, classic vehicles, horses, and local businesses, the parade showcases the people, traditions, and hometown spirit that make Carson Valley unique.
The 116th Annual Carson Valley Days has concluded. Thank you for kicking off your summer with us! The 117th Annual Carson Valley Days will take place June 10th-13th, 2027. We hope you enjoyed this year’s festival, and we hope to see you next year!
2026 Parade Results:

The parade stages at Douglas High School. From there, the lineup travels down County Road, then takes a left onto 6th Street. The parade then travels southeast along Esmeralda Avenue and south onto Highway 395 before concluding near Lampe Park.
Please arrive early, as portions of Highway 395 and surrounding streets will be closed before and during the parade.

Date: Saturday, June 13th, 2026
Deadline For Entry: Tuesday, June 9th
Staging: Staging will begin at 7:00am in the parking lot at Douglas High School.
Parade Start: The parade will begin rolling at 9:00am.
Parade End: The parade will finish at approximately 12:00pm.
Temporary road closures will be in effect along the parade route before and during the event. Highway 395 will be closed in both directions from Buckeye Road to Waterloo Lane on Saturday, June 13th from approximately 8:00am to 1:00pm. All side streets along this section of Highway 395 will also be closed during this period. Detour routes will be provided and will be clearly marked.
The Carson Valley Active 20-30 Club thanks the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Mounted Posse, Search and Rescue, Citizens Patrol, and Nevada State Police for their annual assistance in keeping the parade route safe for all participants and spectators.
During the parade, there are several alternate routes available.
If you’re heading north on Highway 395, turn right on Toler Avenue at the roadblock, then onto either Muller Parkway or Orchard Road. At the end, turn left onto Buckeye Road and head west. At the stoplight, turn right to continue north on Highway 395.
If you’re heading south on Highway 395, turn left at the roadblock onto Buckeye Road. Then, turn right onto either Muller Parkway or Orchard Road and continue to Toler Avenue. Turn right on Toler Avenue, then left at the stoplight to continue south on Highway 395.
Be sure to follow all directions from event staff and law enforcement. Driving into the parade closure area is not permitted.
